Marked FANTASQUE, Handpainted Bizarre by Clarice Cliff, Newport Pottery to base.
Measures approx 7.5cm in diameter by approx 5cm tall
Dating from 1931-32 the vase personifies elegance. Generally good condition, it is painted in red, blue, purple, greens and black and well banded in yellow and brown both to top of the base and internally, with feint hairline just visible to inside bottom & underside..
