Celtic Harvest Biscuit Barrel
One of Clarice Cliff's slightly later designs (1937-41 and post-war). Beautiful biscuit barrel with base and lid both in very good condition. Marked to underside Newport Pottery Co, England with England 58A moulded mark. Delightfully set on coloured 3 feet with two hand painted handles
Celtic Harvest : A range with surface ornamentation of corn sheaves and fruit, with handpainted coloured detail, produced on a large range of tableware and fancies wig a number of glaze variations.
