Measuring approx 25cm x 19cm this early piece of Clarice was made in November 1929 and probably painted c1933. It is marked Bizarre by Clarice Cliff, Wilkinson England with the impressed 11.29 date stamp and was last sold in 2000 at one of their Iconic Clarice Cliff sales. There is some scratches/wear to the plate and a small chip to the corner on the left hand side.
Coral Firs - 1933-39; A black pen outline landscape with coral and brown fir trees, a black roofed cottage and cliffs. The design was later simplified to a shoulder pattern on Biarritz tableware.
